I was in the toy store the other day (to remain unnamed for legal purposes), shopping for my tiny twin granddaughters (being a good Memaw, of course). I am a staunch believer that healthy habits start at an infantile age, and possibly the best ways to stress these healthy habits are by using the toys we buy for our baby. On my shopping trip I discovered several items that I believe exemplify healthy habit forming toddler toys, but none more notably than in the Lil Shopper play set. In too many other toys, this was not the case.
My granddaughters are now two years old and no longer babies, but still under the age limit for certain toys. The age endorsement on the Lil' shopper play set is 6 months, so it is not only regulated for the very young, but you will get months of use out of the Lil' shopper as the company states that this toy is approved for youngsters up to the age of 18 months.

* A cabbage with crinkly leaves and soft rattle. Enjoyable to look at as well as interact with.

* An orange with a rattle in it (you probably need to put this up when you get a headache). It also opens and closes, so it is much more interactive than a typical rattle.
* A little blue milk carton with a disguised mirror under the flap.
* A downy little green tote that carries all the little foodstuffs.
* A banana that crinkles when the peels move.

All in all the Lil' shopper play set is a fantastic selection for your small child. It is interactive as well as a brilliant tool to help reinforce healthy eating and shopping habits early on.
