A Young Woman Engages In Hazardous Drinking And Gets Excellent Help At An Alcohol Treatment Center For Symptoms Of Alcohol Withdrawal And Symptoms Of Alcoholism
Beth was the mother of five children. Beth had been feeling quite tense lately and began to "medicate" herself by drinking two or three shots of whiskey each evening after she tucked her children into bed. After around six weeks of this drinking routine, she finally realized that rather than helping her unwind and cope with her difficulties, drinking alcohol made her feel less restful when she got up in the morning. This, in turn, made her feel even more anxious throughout the .
After reflecting on her predicament for several days, Beth made up her mind to "open up" about her drinking problem with her best friend. In actual fact, about twenty minutes into their discussion, Beth's friend Brooke, told her about an extremely helpful and supportive physician at the local alcohol and drug rehabilitation center. After talking to her friend, Beth without much ado got encouraged to call the rehab center and make an appointment.
Ten days later she eventually got to meet the doctor her friend had talked about. After their brief introduction, Beth told the doctor that ever since she and her former husband got divorced, she has been struggling spiritually, psychologically, and financially.
As Beth was talking to the doctor, she underlined the point that she truthfully believed that she and her ex-husband waited long enough to know each other well enough before they got married. After the children started to arrive, conversely, everything seemed to go downhill. Moreover, both Robert and she began to drink, and their unhealthy and abusive drinking adversely affected their relationship, their finances, and their love for one another.
The doctor explained to Beth that the alcohol poisoning symptoms she has been experiencing are due to her abusive and unhealthy drinking. The doctor also told Beth that her alcohol withdrawal symptoms are some of the common symptoms of alcoholism and that the best solution for this state of affairs is alcohol treatment.
After spending two months in inpatient alcohol rehabilitation, Beth was slowly but surely able to realize that the real origin of her anxiety and her depression was that she had not resolved her bitter feelings she has for her former husband who had divorced her. In a word, Beth let these feelings perturb her to such an extent that she became an alcohol dependent individual.
With these insights and with the meds her doctor prescribed, she eventually abstained from drinking, she began to feel considerably less depressed, and she started making more time for social events with her family and friends. What is more, a few months after receiving rehabilitation from her doctor, she even started to date once again.
It was evident that Beth had come a long way. In point of fact, just about seven months after she completed her treatment, she had finally laid the ghost of her ex-husband to rest and was beginning to feel better about herself and more spiritually"alive" and emotionally "together" than she had ever felt in her life.
