Sharon had been involved in fairly heavy drinking behavior since her sophomore year in college. Now, seven years later, she drank more than ever. When Sharon read this sign she plainly realized that drinking had become a major difficulty in her life because of her diminished energy level and also because she stopped pursuing her passions and her goals.

After reflecting on all of these hurtful alcoholism signs and symptoms, Sharon at first felt sad. Then something amazing transpired. She realized that she was going to see her physician about her irresponsible and abusive drinking and she also reflected on the fact that that she would talk about her alcoholism warning signs and symptoms.

In truth, for the first time in several months, Sharon truthfully felt a sense of hopefulness because she was confronting her irresponsible and abusive drinking and was finally ready to make the necessary changes so that she could reclaim the life that was drifting away.
